We hired a freelance photographer that was a FB friend. Wed met in other occasions so were not strangers. He gave us a decent price. Our engagement photo experience was a disaster but I hoped it was just a fluke. Wedding went wonderfully. However it was requested that guests did not take photos and video during the ceremony, so there is very little proof that the day even happened. It has been almost a year of “I’m working on them” and “I’m just very busy, will get them to you asap” etc. Now, he has finally told me that the SD cards are lost. That when he has the money he will pay me back, and IF he finds the cards will send me the raw images. But my trust is gone. I don’t think I will ever see the photos or money. And while getting $ back is great and all, it does not detract from my feelings over our photos. Wdid?
