I’m 40 years old and I’m fully aware my generation had stupid idioms that made no sense (off the hook, she’s fly, yo dog… the list goes on). I’m trying to understand the language of my 17 year old daughter. I heard someone get called “cap” and my daughter explained that means they’re a liar, or at least being accused of lying. She had no idea why. WTH does “cap” have to do with lying?
