Put your shame aside and come clean; what absolutely terrible moves has your favorite team made that you (at the time) supported/thought were good?
Me (Canucks): Really coming clean here. Jared McCann for Erik Gudbranson. Yup. Fell head first into the “this guy is a semi-recent Top 5 pick though!” line of thinking. Also a bit of “yeah, but is McCann REALLY going to be that good?” (he was) copium thrown in for good measure. I don’t know what else to say. I had this idea that Gud was some stud D man just waiting to break out. A lot of Canucks fans at the time were (rightly) criticial of the deal, but I tuned it out. Big strong former 3rd overall D, what could go wrong? Shame.
What do you got?
