Thanks to a new strategy theorycrafted by Onslatt and then made to work and refined by Sayonara, Joakim (who was the third person to achieve 52 old strat) and Berg, what was once possibly the most brutal grind in Goldeneye is now significantly easier to achieve. Sayonara, Berg, Odkul and Widdershins have all achieved 52s in the past 24 hours and many more are expected to come flooding in.
In short, the new strategy involves changing the game display to ‘Cinema’ and the aspect ratio to 16:9 and looking up at a certain angle in order to load the gate guard much sooner, so he opens the gate for you and pressing the button can be skipped.
