Not a fan of tattoos/makeup/revealing a lot of skin myself, I’m just really confused. Why is everyone pro “my body my choice” when it comes to wearing whatever clothes you want; wearing makeup; etc—but suddenly think that people deserve it when they face the consequences of having visible tattoos and/or plastic surgeries? Or wearing a veil/hijab?

I just got this question when I saw people commenting about a lady with a body (and face) full of tattoos, and no one mentioned anything about how “work has nothing to do with what she chooses to do with her body”. Everyone agrees that “who would hire someone who looks like this”.

I’m so confused
