I’ve seen a lot of public work orders for Crests (like Enchanted Runed Harbinger Crest, Enchanted Gilded Harbinger Crest, etc.) where people put rank 3 materials into the order.

This is a huge waste of gold, and here’s why:

Crests themselves do NOT have quality tiers! The only thing that matters is the item you craft with the Crest later.

So whether you use rank 1, 2, or 3 mats, the result is exactly the same Crest - no quality difference at all.

If you’re putting in rank 3 materials, you’re just burning extra gold for no reason.

I wanted to put this out there because I see this “mistake” way too often, and it seems like many players don’t realize it.

Save your gold, use cheaper materials, and spread the word!
