Apologies if this has been pointed out before, I only just realized it when I was reading the contract criminal association war arc today.

Throughout the series, I’ve seen the word “dark” used a few times, such as Dark Master, or dark ki or dark skills, but the series never had a dark energy type of ki or martial arts shown, which confused me but I rolled with it.

Then I realized, the “dark” part is actually referring to the Tang Clan’s proficiency in hidden weapons!

In Chinese, hidden weapons are written as “暗器”. “暗” if you google translate it, will give you night, darkness etc.

So I’m guessing the author wants Tang Munbi to be known as a Master of Hidden Weapons, but it was mistranslated as dark master if the Korean version only use “暗” in most cases instead of “暗器”.
