We were at a restaurant, stepdaughter had an entrée and when our mains came she realised that she wanted the side of my main with her meal which is actually the main part of my main. I would’ve ended up with just a tiny piece of meat so I said no and asked the waiter to bring us some more of the thing that she wanted. She got it but now (the day after) both my husband and stepdaughter are still angry with me and treating me badly saying that I should’ve just given her my meal.

So, am I the asshole for not giving my meal away?
