Ok so bear with me if this is posted wrong, first time poster first time lurker!

So I need to know if I am the asshole, I(f36) seen a very concerning comment my brother (m45) wrote on a fb group regarding very young girls.

I screenshotted the comment and contacted him asking what was up. He never replied but went and deleted his comment, I then rang his wife and told her what I had seen and sent her a picture of it.

Now this is not a one off, he has been caught doing this before but previously his wife has believed the stories he told her about the reasons, and didn’t want to break up their family life (3m) (I did not), this time she had enough.

She confronted him later and he said he had wrote the comments however was due to him thinking it was a way out of their relationship.

He has since cut me out due to me being “toxic” and doesn’t want me around the kids, as I shouldn’t have said anything to his wife about this.

I’m fully supporting his wife and child as I find it vile what he has done, and when people are asking me why they split I have been telling them the truth while he has been giving a watered down version.

So AITA ?

I think I may be the asshole because telling people why they split and for sending his wife screenshots?
