I am a mom to a 4-year-old who is REALLY into legos. He recently found a few Bionicle at a thrift and now wants more so they can fight each other. He’s a serious kid when it comes to being lore-accurate. I know nothing about this franchise besides having a vague memory of a cousin having a few bionicles growing up. There is so much information online, I don’t even know where to start. Can someone help a mom out and explain what I need to buy from eBay to get the “good guys” and the “bad guys”? I figured out that the one we thifted is a Piraka (I think). Black and gold guy, with a flexible spine. He shoots green plastic marbles. We also thrifted some small bionicles that I think are called Turaga. They have little staff and are all different colors. Are some of the colors supposed to be the bad guys already?

TLDR; what bionicles should I try to find for my kid? He has a few Turaga and one Piraka.
