Our old microwave made the most annoying beeps once done. When we purchased a new one, we made sure to review the done sound before and the one we have now makes a pleasing melody and stops after 3 times.

We did not learn from this and recently bought a new dryer. The standard setting is that it makes an annoying beepbeeep once done, every few second FOR AN HOUR!!! It is the most damning thing. And it starts beeping 3 minutes BEFORE it is actually done.

Please learn from my mistakes.

P.s. the dryer manual says there is a way to turn it off. Will try that tomorrow. Gn
