I like many others eagerly awaited the Ultrawide update and was amazed how great is was as first but then I started to struggle with window management and even more with menu bars being right over on the left even when the window was central on my screen. But discovered two great apps that really made me love Ultrawide again, so I thought I’d share in case anyone else is struggling.

So the first App for window management I use is Mosaic. You can just drag your window and it will suggest layouts for you (this is also customisable).

The second App which I find even more useful is Menuwhere. Wherever you are on your screen just press Control and right click and you’ll get the menubar menu for what ever app you’re using pop up right where your cursor is. It’s brilliant and only $3!
