I know this surprises few of us, and the article addresses how racial discrimination pushes the reported number of mistreatment incidents much higher than the overall average, but I hope these issues will be taken more seriously with this publication. However, it’s incredibly frustrating that our complaints have gone unheard for so long, and the issue is going to be compounded in complexity with the catastrophic loss of access to healthcare for a huge number of individuals.
