I met my step mom when I was 6 and we got along amazing we would go out for girls days and do lots of art. I truly thought of her as my second mom. Then my half sibling was born when I was 11 and I was treated differently.

It started as spending less time with me which is very reasonable my sister was a premature baby and even if she wasn’t . But then my step mom would start excluding me from family trips. I was a bit hurt but I assumed she just wanted some memories of just the three of them. When I was 14 I was professionally diagnosed by a psychologist with depression, anxiety and ASD (autism spectrum disorder)(what a wonderful bunch of diagnoses-). One day my step mom got pissed off at me cause my hair was greasy (I have naturally oily hair so does my mom but she says it cause I’m lazy, but even my granny who was a hairdresser said it’s not bad) And my step mom decided to tell me and i quote “if you really had autism which you don’t”.

My step mom works in the education system with people that have learning disabilities! She has also mocked me for fiddling with shit and avoiding eye contact which she knows make me uncomfortable. The other day we got in an argument and she said you wanna know what I think about you? I said yes. She said I’m a spoiled ass brat that likes faking illnesses. So I yelled back I honestly think she is a crazy ass bitch that takes pleasure with putting down a 16 year old girl. She stormed off and now k been getting backlash so Aita?
