I stay in flats/an apartment, my upstairs neighbour woke me up this morning by letting their phone alarm go off for 30 minutes, literally for the entire 30 minutes I could hear their phone vibrate on the floor, so it was really hard for me to fall back asleep, it has became quite a habit for my neighbour to do this, the other week it went on for almost an hour, today I reached the end of my tether and decided enough is enough, I got dressed and went upstairs and loudly but not aggressively knocked on their door, my neighbour looking quite tired opened the door and asked me “what’s up? You’ve woke me up” so I replied “I’m up, and I’m glad I woke you seeing as your alarm clearly didn’t” then proceeded to ask them to either turn their alarm down or at least not leave it on the floor right above my bedroom vibrating for ages, they looked a bit annoyed with me for knocking on their door at that time but I feel justified in doing so because it’s not the first time it’s happened and it woke me up at a stupid time, AITA? It’s very very annoying hearing “voot voot voot voot…” above your head for that long
