What do you guys think is a worthy successor these days to engines like the AMC straight six, GM 3800, Ford 300, Chrysler slant six? I can’t think of any American engines that are currently being manufactured that are known for durability like those motors. Maybe Ford’s 2.7? Or the 5.3 in GM vehicles?
