Sheen, who was born in Newport but moved to Port Talbot with his family when he was eight bought this money from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), and wrote off debt to help more than 900 people in south Wales, where he had grown up. This was part of a two-year project to emphasize issues with the current credit system, which was filmed for an upcoming Channel 4 documentary, Michael Sheen’s Secret Million Pound Giveaway.
