No questions on this for several years as best I can tell, and the old apps are ~abandoned.

I need to create basic PDFs of receipts and other documents. OCR would be great … but really the core requirement is simply a PDF format, even if just of image data, as I have to upload them to a portal that will only accept PDF :( Hopefully the app can use the phone camera directly, but even creating PDF’s from gallery I suppose would work.

OpenScan and OpenNoteScanner unfortunately appear dead for several years. Are there any options somewhat recently developed/updated? Thanks!
