Warranty:
I checked with HP US and they confirmed that this laptop has 1-year global offsite support and can be serviced in the US.
Benchmark Scores:
R23 Multi Core: 15536 (Performance Mode)
According to a review from China, the maximum fan noise is about 47 dBm.
Software:
The laptop came with Windows 11 Home and Office 2021 home and student licenses. The original OS on this laptop is locked in simplified Chinese, so I guess most people will want to replace it.
To keep the Windows license after reinstalling the OS, you need to use a Microsoft account to create a Windows user account during OOBE.
To keep the Office license, after the OOBE is done, launch any of the Office applications, e.g., Word, and log in with a Microsft account in the application. You should immediately get an email from Microsoft with the title “已处理 Microsoft 订单 #XXXXXX”. This email means the Office license has been successfully added to the Microsoft account. After OS reinstallation, the Office license can be restored by logging in to the Microsoft account in the Office applications.
