I have this discussion with people about fan happiness and you guys tell me what you think.

WOULD YOU RATHER:

  • Your team win a national championship and then only have three 8+ win seasons over the next 15 years, with 3 seasons .500 or below in there.

OR

  • Your team NOT win a natty and go to playoff 12 of 15 years and play for a title twice and never lose more than 3 games in a season?

I believe that even though fans want a title, they are ultimately happier when they are great every year and have a team to be proud of instead of yo-yoing good/bad/good/bad.
