I (23f) am 36 weeks pregnant and my friend (24f) is 24 weeks pregnant. She has planned to have her baby shower on my birthday, fully knowing that it is my birthday that day. She even messaged about a month ago saying “your bday is this day right?” And was talking about which day she was going to do it. It seemed like she would make it a different day. My baby will be about 1 month old when her baby shower is planned. I honestly wasn’t planning on doing much, just wanted a chill day of quality time with my husband and baby to be honest. Maybe go to the beach if the weather is nice. I feel like she is kind of being the a**hole by planning to do it on this day, I don’t really want to have to please anyone else or worry about getting someone a baby gift on my birthday. I’m a little mad that she made it this day.
