Every time I see some cheesy crime drama or action movie from the late 1970s to late 1990s, it often occurs to me that a slightly beat up early to mid 1970s Ford LTD seems like exactly the right car for a burned out veteran police detective, down-on-his-luck petty career criminal, or low-level mobster to be driving. I don’t know why, but for some reason that pairing of vehicle and driver has always remained stuck in my head.

What do you guys think?
