I’m a lifelong horror and theme park fan, and naturally always wanted to see the concepts combined. We’re seeing some awesome developments these days, and to further sate my unnatural thirst, I’ve been imagining a Disneyland-type park with horror.

If you’ve read the Dark Ride comics, you can imagine where I’m going with this.

Here’s a rough layout of my current Devil Land AU park, as inspired by Disney and Dark Ride:

1. Gates of Hell: Entry area, basically Main Street as set in Hell.
2. Terrorland: Exotic terrors and monsters. Snakes, mummies, cryptids, etc.
3. Horrorland: Slashers and American horrors.
4. Nightmareland: Monsters of myth and classic horror stories.
5. Wasteland: Post-apocalyptic themed area.

Imagining attractions in the meantime, heavily inspired by Disney, Dark Ride, Halloween Horror Nights and other attractions and events and stories. Tell me if I’m alone in this manic obsession!
