I just finished the 5 seasons of The Listener, an amiable Canadian offering about a psychic guy who helps police solve crimes. The characters are, to a one, sweet and nice, with that Canadian “balance” thing that Canadians have. It’s no biggie, but does have some moments (and one laugh out loud thing involving an incredibly dour portrait of a departed aunt). But I was really surprised that I just felt sad to see it finished. It’s like macaroni and cheese, definitely without hot sauce added. But very nice show.

Felt that way about Halt and Catch Fire, too.
