Hi all,

So for a short while I’ve been really intrigued by the concept of Monero, and it’s been really speaking to the rebel/anarchist in me so to say. A thought that came up recently was: isn’t there also a case to be made for the government cracking down on Monero? One of the use cases that I could think of is tax evasion. Monero would make it incredibly hard, if not impossible, to keep track of people’s assets, and thus tax accordingly. How do you all see this, and what do you think could be a solution for this? It really is a shame that such a beautiful principle can be abused for illegal things in my opinion.

Anyway, looking forward to your thoughts!
