My sister has to be €500 tomorrow for her school fees. I start university again tomorrow and my parents are not supporting me this year because of financial issues so I’m on my own but this is my final year of computer science so I will survive

My mum called and asked me if I can send her €500 to help my sister, she said she isn’t paid until Friday . I told her I can’t that I need to help myself first. She told me she will give it back to me on Friday but I know how my mum operates. It will be the following month before she gives it back.

She got my dad involved and he called me and started sweet talking me and I felt bad but I still didn’t want to give them €500 so I lied about it saying I have to withdraw it from a different bank account and it won’t come into my account until Friday (so when it comes in my mum would already be paid).
