Been dealing with incompetent Liberty Asset Group and their apartment complex The Upland.
Started off applying for an apartment listed everywhere for $1145, was told they had the same one opening up with some Reno’s for $25 more. Put down the holding deposit then go to sign the lease and it says rent is $1300 which is not what we agreed on. Ask for my money back and they won’t refund so I had to sign the lease or lose out on $500.
In the “parking” section of the lease the first sentence says I get one uncovered parking spot assigned to my unit. They tell me today, 5 days before I’m supposed to move, that there is no assigned parking.
Looking for someone to talk to to find out if I have any grounds for rent reduction or to break the lease all together because this company is the absolute worst.
Edit: May I urge all of you with similar horror stories of dealing with these scumbags to leave a review on both LAG’s google page and the complex you were renting in.
