HELP - is anyone experiencing this? I have an Acer Swift Edge 16 (SFE16-43) with a Ryzen 7840U and Radeon 780M.
I returned the first one I got due to abysmally low scores in Time Spy (696) and Geekbench 6 Compute (13,000), these scores are worse than iGPUs from 2020.
My replacement laptop did much better, getting >25,000 on Geekbench 6 Compute. However, now my new laptop is getting 14,000-15,000 all of a sudden. I’m not sure what happened - all I can think of is that I opened the AMD Adrenalin software for the first time and installed my typical apps (e.g Slack, Microsoft Teams , 3DMark Demo etc) - shouldn’t mess things up though and I ended all these tasks before running the benchmark). I also set the Windows 11 Power Mode to “Best Performance” and cycled with “Fn + F” to the performance mode for the Acer laptop :/
On the first laptop, updating the drivers didn’t help at all, so I don’t really want to waste the time to do it here until there are newer drivers.
Has anyone experienced this/found a solution? I posted this on the AMD forums but got marked as spam :')
