Imagine if you had to switch to your melee weapon before drinking your divine combat potion in order to make it last 5 minutes, instead of 1.
Imagine that if you were accidently too fast and switched your weapon and drank the potion in the same tick, the spell will still last 1 minutes instead of 5 and you’d have to wait 6 seconds before trying this again.
Imagine that without the divine combat potion all melee weapons will do 50% less damage(specifically at Yama but that’s 50% of the place you would use the Demonbane spells at).
This is basically the Mark of Darkness spell, It’s clearly that it’s whole point of existence was to fill up the Arcceus Spellbook.
Please Jagex do one of the following -
- Make the spell’s base duration 5 minutes, so we don’t have to carefully flick to a purging staff every recast
- Make the purging staff refresh the duration when finishing off an enemy with the special attack
- Make the purging staff refresh the duration automatically regardless
- Remove the spell
