My (37/f) and fiancee (44/m) both work at Walmart. We just transferred from a shockingly amazing store to well ill let it speak for itself. Anyway we share a 9 year old son, and take care of my special needs brother. So I work 6am to 1pm and he works 2 to 11pm and have the same days off. We have it that way because I have epilepsy and cannot drive. I am a cosmetics cashier. Ever since I started my TL hasn’t made much of an attempt to get to know me, which isn’t the problem, the problem is that my breaks and lunches are often late because she will only cover my only 15 minute break which is always after hers. She’s usually here before me I get it. However she relies on the frontend to cover my lunch. The length of my shift puts me at a maximum 10am clock out for lunch. Several times ive had to use my PPTO so I can leave on time so my fiancee can take me home and get back in time for his shift. That seems unfair, but like I said maybe im wrong.
