Moved to Australia over a year ago and my first job is a carpark, road and public area cleaner. I’m disgusted at how disrespectful tourists and younger Australians are…
I grew up in the Rocky Mountains and we always followed the rule “Pack it in, pack it out or leave no trace”
Australia is absolutely beautiful so doing things like throwing your Maccas rubbish, vapes, nappies, plastic…etc out your car window is like taking a big ole shit on your doorstep…you have to look at it everyday now.
By the time I get to the rubbish all the local wildlife has already had a go. So now you’ve poisoned multiple animals, disrespected everyone around you and everyone in the future.
So I please beg of you, if you visit this amazing land be on your best behavior and clean up after yourselves…*don’t be a cunt
Also to the younger aussies… show your parents some respect. Eat the food your loving mother/father prepares for you! I’m binning thousands of dollars of food EVERY WEEK from students just throwing their lunches on the ground as they are walking to maccas/kfc… gross
