From the City of Fort Collins’ Natural Areas newsletter:

"Celebrate National Trails Day by giving back to the places you love. Join Natural Areas on Saturday, June 8from 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. for a morning of hands-on trail stewardship at Soapstone Prairie Natural Area. Choose from a variety of meaningful projects—including accessible trail improvements, hiking trail maintenance, or staining picnic tables.

Whether you’re building rock walls near the Lindenmeier Overlook Trail or applying wood stain at the pavilion, your efforts help create safer, more inclusive spaces for all. Tools, gloves, lunch, and refreshments are provided. Stay for the full event and you’ll also receive a volunteer gift and be entered to win great prizes!

Transportation from the Northside Aztlan Center is available upon request. E-mail AJ Chlebnik to reserve space.
