First of all, I’d like to clarify that I’m not a cladotherian, but just want some questions answered. Anyways, here we go.
- Do cladotherians identify as their species as a whole, or as each specific species. I’m going to use cat as a example here. Would a cat cladotherian say “I identify as cats as a whole” or “I identify as every single type of cat”? Sorry if this doesn’t make sense.
- Elaborating on 1., do cladotherians have a theriotype of their clade, like “I am every single species of cat, and they are all separate theriotypes” or is it all one theriotype, “my theriotype is cat as a whole”?
- talking about shifting cladotherians here, when you shift, do you shift as one of the species in your clade, like “today I shifted as a Scottish Fold” or “today I shifted as a cat as a whole”?
- Can you exclude a species, or is that not cladotherian anymore? Like “I’m a cat cladotherian, except Russian Blue. I don’t identify as a Russian Blue” or is this deemed not a cladotherian?
Again, I’m not a cladotherian, and I’m only using cat as an example. I’m very sorry if I got some terms wrong. I did have a look through this community for some answers, but didn’t find any to my questions.
