Fabio Jakobsen will not compete in this year’s Tour de France. The Dutch sprinter of Team Picnic PostNL did not recover in time from an operation he had to undergo to fix an entrapment of the pelvic arteries.

In the fall, he hopes to make his comeback. “I dreamed of the Vuelta, which starts August 23. But I was advised against that.
