Tech Support Fraud schemes affect millions of people globally and can be infuriating when you or someone you know becomes a successful target. Microsoft’s Digital Crimes Unit worked closely with the Central Bureau of Investigation in India and the Japan Cybercrime Control Center to help stop a scam network that was impersonating Microsoft and targeting older adults in Japan. This marks our first collaboration with Japan, showcasing our commitment to global cybersecurity.
