When I say stupid, I mean both the decklists and the players. Regarding the decklists, I’ve seen one going around that actually makes sense that runs the tourist and a bunch of paladin cards, but some people are making the most baffling deckbuilding decisions I’ve ever seen and still winning. I’ve seen highlander elementals, I’ve seen an imbue/hostage hybrid, I’ve seen pirates with no Patches, I’ve seen a secret package where the only secret was Duplicate. I’m still recovering from when I went all-in on a wide board because my opponent only had 1 imbue and he Flamestriked me (not randomly generated, he put that card in his deck). As for the players, I’ve had several people just drop sing along buddy on turn 3 with no imbues or play reckless apprentice on an empty board. This is in diamond btw. It’s not even a rare occurrence, I think almost half of the imbue mages I play against are doing some kind of stupid shit like this. Like, I know the deck is broken, but is it really so good that you can fill half of it with useless garbage and still win without even knowing how to play the deck? I feel like I’m being pranked.
