If the swap came with a 6 speed, the transmission in the car should also have 6 gears after its swapped into the car.

Example: DC2 Integra Type R originally came with a 5 speed. If I swap the k20c1 from a FK8/FL5 into the Integra, the Integra should then have 6 gears, just like the FL5/FK8 CTR does.

I feel like there’s such lost power potential if we’re relegating the engine swapped car to it’s originally gearing.

And from a realism stand point, swapping motors IRL typically coincides with swapping the transmission, so it should be the same in Gran Turismo, the supposed real driving simulator.
