Hi friends,

My power supply just crapped out on me and I’m in need of a new one. I believe the reason is because I was trying to stuff 10 3.5" hard drives in a tiny case with an underrated PS. I’m tossing around the idea of some sort of external HD enclosure with it’s own PS but I really don’t know what to get. I have a tendency of getting the wrong dang thing and forcing it to work. I have a asus pro b460m-c motherboard and need something compatible with it and my current disk array. Can someone recommend something under $300USD that is fast enough to run my …darrs and Plex Media Server. A lot of the ones I am seeing are USB and I believe that would be terribly slow for my application. I like the idea of the Silverstone Tek RL-TS821S 8 Bay for $400. But it’s higher than my budget and it it only takes the 2.5" drives.
