Ive been licensed now for a little over a year, been in the trade for about 5 years. I still get so much anxiety doing this stuff man. I took a side job for a friend, just swapping outlets and switches, moving lights, smokes, typical bs. I know I did everything correctly and safely, yet I still have an immense level of anxiety about things going wrong or someone getting hurt. Their panel is super old and somewhat corroded, and a lot of the wiring ive seen so far is super hack. Being that I am the last person who has touched anything in the house, im left with this nonstop worry about the worst case scenarios. Im wondering if anyone else has the same problem, and what you do to deal with that feeling. Part of me thinks maybe I need to find a different career path, or switch to low voltage? Let me know if you guys ever feel the same. Thank you!
