Basically: Merchant EDC should have Card tapping ability (Tested on EDC BCA Android)
From Merchant Side: Proceed payment through “Kartu”, input the nominal press OK. The same way like if you want to pay using card slot / Visa PayWave.
From customer: open Bank app that support QRIS Tap (tested with Brimo), open QRIS Tap menu, enter PIN and then tap your phone to EDC on its NFC transceiver side (usually on top). And voila, payment success.
NOTE: If you want to try this, dont say “Bayar pakai QRIS” because there is no QRIS Tap ability if merchant open “QRIS” on their EDC. Just ask “Bayar pakai Tap / Kartu” like what they usually do with Visa PayWave credit card. Make sure EDC has “wifi signal” icon on top of it.
