A few weeks ago, I had one of the most unexplainable and deeply connected psychedelic experiences of my life.

It was a night session with close friends. A few of us took mushrooms and set up the space to feel calm and immersive. We were outdoors no lights, surrounded by plants, everything felt alive. But what stood out wasn’t just the visuals or the introspection. It was the shared consciousness.

At one point, we all started feeling like our minds were syncing like we could hear each other’s thoughts or emotional frequencies. No one was talking, but it felt like we were communicating on a level beyond words.

Here’s the wild part: one of our friends hadn’t taken anything. Nothing. Meant to be our tripsitter, but he was right there with us not just vibing, but actively feeling the trip. He froze, couldn’t answer our questions.

And then something truly bizarre happened.

Another friend leaned over and whispered something in my ear — super softly, just to me and yet the others heard it too. Like… not just “I felt the energy of what was said,” but actually heard it. One even repeated it back to us word for word. But our tripsitter didn’t hear what was whispered

We all froze. No one could explain it. It wasn’t scary just this pure, raw sense that the boundary between our minds had dissolved. One field, one consciousness.

I’m still processing it. Have any of you experienced this level of shared perception especially with someone who was sober?

Would love to hear your thoughts or theories.
