Our perception is all we have and it has shifted so much over the last few decades.
But imagine especially regarding who we are, transsexuals would be so much more kindly regarded if trans guys weren’t seen as vulnerable women, but instead as guys who were missing important male anatomy.
How many more men would relate to this, be sympathetic to the needs of the men in our community, hearing that theirs men who are not born with the part they so desperately value.
Likewise for women, being unable to conceive is already such a hard thing for many to take, and all the problems that come with it.
It just makes me sad sometimes how different society would be with just a little shift, but instead we’re viewed as menaces of society.
