When it’s common and even encouraged to hate women. I mean genuinely despise women. I’ve watched older men coach young boys into being misogynistic and then making fun of the young boy when he feels confused about it or feels it’s wrong.
Id argue most women don’t hate maleness in its pure essence. It’s patriarchy and all of the unnecessary pain and hardship it brings, towards everyone (but women and children suffer the most under it). I hate that I feel guilty or like I’m some evil wench for calling out or feeling upset with the things men do.
I shouldn’t have to preface every rant with “not all”. It should be obvious it isn’t all. Yet I’ve have men directly tell me all women are cheating, lying, gold digging whores. I’m tired of the double standards
And tbh I’m tired of them invading women’s spaces. Even this sub. I know it’s open towards all genders and I understand why that is. But it gets SOO annoying when guys come in and you can tell they have zero intentions of understanding you. They just want to antagonize, derail, and be a contrarian
They don’t care about your issues, they honestly don’t even care about themselves. But they want you to hold their hands while they cry and don’t even attempt to break the mold society (well, patriarchy, let’s be specific) placed on them.
Most of their problems aren’t even women’s fault. It’s other men.
