I initiated a DRS request through IBKR as Commsec no longer allows it. The request was declined and the reason was

“Transfer instructions have been receivedRejected by IB: Client may not have the cash to cover DRS fees. Transfer rejected due to margin requirement. $221.90 additional equity needed.”

Does anyone know why apparently Computershare charges to directly register now?
