Hi!
I’ve been on a huge hiatus since EoD and I’ve decided to buy SOTO/Janthir Wilds while they were on sale. I just started playing SOTO and when I talked to the story NPC in the first map, I couldn’t hear anything what they were saying because a bunch of event NPC’s were loudly talking over their dialogue…and they weren’t even near me. It really ruined my immersion. I can see myself turning off dialogue volume if I’m not doing story.
I heard from quite a few people that’s a problem in the new expansion as well. I remember it slightly annoying me in EoD but not to this degree.
So here is my plea to Anet - please let us MUTE the communicator, if you’re not planning to get rid of it. It’s hard to follow the actual story if it’s not happening in a story instance. And I kinda don’t wanna be bothered every 5 minutes when I’m idling.
Thank you!
