My company is sending me to NZ for about 4 weeks and I’m starting to stress about what to do with my kelpie mix. He’s not great at traditional boarding kennels, gets really depressed being around that many other dogs. Last time I tried a kennel he barely ate for the first week. I’d much prefer a home situation where he can just chill and be someone’s temporary pet. Budget is definitely a factor since it’s such a long stay, but I’d rather pay more for him to be comfortable. Anyone done something similar? How did you find a good long term option around Perth?
