So, IF they believe in themselves being prophets, seers, and revelatory, what have they got to be thinking about this? - I believe they are 100% in on the con, but let’s say they aren’t and are true believers. This “lost” prophecy is brought to light saying polygamy would never be taken from the earth, and it’s been taken. Does that give them any sort of pause? Sure, there’s the apologists explaining it away, but if they (FP & Q12) “believe” they know that that is just bunk. What does it say to them about their own calling? The church? Do you believe it is possible that some of them actually believe, like say Bednar is so full of his own self importance that he actually believes he’s some sort of prophetic figure?
