Support is resistance.
We want to showcase the excellent work done by our Verified charities and volunteers, with help from you, in support of Ukraine’s war effort.
Each week, we post a roundup of their Support Report and Thank You posts, so that you can see what they’ve done–and what you’ve facilitated–all in one place. Here are this week’s successes!
Night vision for a Latvian volunteer with 3rd Assault
u/tallalittlebit shared a long overdue report of a Latvian volunteer who got an NVG with your help. It’s not her fault it was delayed, nor his: he was in the hospital with nerve damage. I like the cut of this guy’s jib. tallalittlebit writes:
We asked if we needed to blur his face and he said not because everyone knows how much he hates the Russians.
Night vision for a British combat medic with Med Team Alpha
u/tallalittlebit also shared an enthralling and educational video from a British combat medic whom you helped equip with a night vision device.
Medicine and tacmed for a stabilization point near Pokrovsk
u/CF_Siveryany showed off the medicine and tacmed she was able to send a stabilization point near Pokrovsk.
THAT’S A WHOLE LOT OF FEELING BETTER
Clothes, CATs, and a power station for the 66th; a 3D printer for the 95th
CLOTHED, PROTECTED, POWERED, & PRINTING
Ongoing Projects
We’d love to see these as successes in a future Weekly Support Report!
- Our very own u/jesterboyd is hoping to give some more kids who’ve suffered loss a bit of a break from the war by sending them to summer camp by the sea. He writes: “A single day of activities for mom and child, that include painting, sports, working with psychologists, seaside visits and sightseeing costs around $53. 33 children have already enjoyed their piece of mind by the sea, with attentive caretakers, psychologist, animators and art teachers, who all volunteer to help.”
- u/UFL_Robin and team are fundraising for their second summer tacmed delivery run.
- u/Pitmaster4Ukraine is helping a used russian FPV to fund IT equipment and car repairs.
- u/ongand_2 's guys in the 154th Brigade need two REBs.
- u/KateKozakDrive wants to help the 78th repair their large vehicle fleet.
- u/tallalittlebit is seeking used military gear that can be given a second mission.
