This morning 9 am something happened that I can’t stop thinking about.

I suddenly heard loud crying from the floor above — a girl’s voice, sobbing heavily. At first I hesitated, but I went upstairs to check. I knocked and asked if everything was okay. A man opened the door, just nodded towards the water tank as an excuse, and quickly went back in.
