I finally left my job based in NYC because they weren’t paying us for the past 3 and 1/2 months. Before that we were getting delayed paychecks for almost a year. We even lost our benefits temporarily because the payroll company ended the contract. No paystubs since March and no one is talking about it! I already had an exit plan but I went through a several roadblocks along the way. ,🤦🏼‍♀️ I’m free but I need my money! I don’t know what to do. Using a lawyer will take so much time and money. I want my money and then never speak to them again.

I worked in the mental health field and all of us: the support staff and providers have all been uncompensated for so long and with everyone leaving, the patients are being affected. I feel bad for those patients.

Edit: I forgot! I made a wage claim at the Department of Labor already at the end of June… I haven’t got anything yet
